The philosophy of the Basketball Academies of Agia Paraskevi is to instill in young athletes a genuine love for basketball and sports, supporting them in developing their skills and teaching them life values that will enable them to succeed both on and off the court.
Recognized coaches, a structured and tested training program, a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement, along with a professional yet fun environment, inspire young athletes to reach their full potential and embrace the principles of Fair Play, participation, cooperation, discipline, responsibility, and justice.
At the Basketball Academies of Agia Paraskevi, we aim to nurture raw talent so that it matures, developing well-rounded athletes and strong character.
For the second consecutive year, as Technical Director, he leads the Academies of KAP and the Youth team of the club in the role of Head Coach.
With valuable assets from his career in basketball as a player and coach (KAP, Olympiada Papagou, GS Pallinis), his studies (graduate of SEFAA with master’s degrees in Pedagogy & Creative Learning and specialization in Developmental Coordination Disorder – DCD), as well as his experience in high-level educational institutions (Duka Educational Institution, Deree), he dedicates countless hours to both the continuous improvement of his methods and their flawless implementation.
Perfectionist, persistent, focused on results, with a love for basketball and children, he is the hallmark that guarantees the KAP Academies, from which he himself originated, operate at high standards of basketball education.
With over ten years of service at the KAP Academies, he brings with him experiences gained as the Head Coach of the Air Force team, as well as from his tenure as Assistant Coach and Scouter for our men’s team.
A meteorologist, he knows very well how to train and motivate his athletes in discipline, hard work, and dedication to the team, setting the example himself.
For the third consecutive year, he has already proven to be a valuable member of our coaching team, making significant contributions by training younger age groups and competitive teams.
A graduate of the Philosophy Department at the University of Athens and a certified coach, he strives for excellence in everything he engages in. He loves working with children, and his dream is to someday coach the men’s team of his beloved club, featuring players he had the joy of training in their early basketball steps.
The new member of the team, with years of experience in specialized basketball academies (Polis, Porfyras Piraeus), is coming to Agia Paraskevi for the first time to bring new perspectives.
A graduate in Physical Education, he is patient, cooperative, optimistic, and has a well-developed sense of humor. He is exceptionally effective at getting the most out of his athletes.
The Academy Program 2019-2020 of KAP is aimed at children born from 2014 to 2001 who want to develop their basketball skills while being part of a sports family that cultivates the values of teamwork, continuous improvement, and Fair Play.
The program, designed by the experienced coaching staff of KAP, aims to develop specific athletic skills for each age group and ensures that the athletic development of the children is harmonious and supports their physical and mental growth.
We are confident that by the end of the season, the children will not only have had an amazing competitive year, but they will also be happy and satisfied as they will have improved in all areas.
We, the coaching team and the management of KAP, are committed to being by the children’s side every day, supporting and helping them achieve their goals.
